Business Link is a division of the New York City Human Resources Administration. Business Link is responsible for matching employers with jobseekers who have the skills that employers are seeking; provides free job placement services; hosts job fairs, maintains a repository of job seekers and offers alerts by text message through its TEXT2Work program. Business Link is the recruitment arm of the agency and works closely with the community and employers to fill job orders, provide free job placement, and offer subsidized job training opportunities to Cash Assistance recipients and low-income individuals in New York City. The Career Services is recruiting for one (1) Clerical Associate II to function as Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Receptionist/DE Clerk performs general clerical duties, greets arrivals in the Business Link office and schedules public assistance recipients for Business Link services. The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk interacts with those requesting Business Link services over the phone and in person, ensuring the participants have the knowledge that they need to pursue job openings with Business Link employers.
