About The Position

As Receptionist/Cashier you will be the front-line contact with our customers answering phone calls and greeting walk-in customers. You will also be responsible for receiving payments and balancing receipts on a daily basis. This position is located at our sales and service dealership location in Castaic, California

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
One year’ related experience in a similar position
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Great telephone manner and ability to represent the company well with excellent customer relations skills
Dependable and reliable and able to commit to the work hours for the position

Responsibilities

Answers calls on multi-line telephone system.
Greets visitors and directs them.
Distributes incoming mail and faxes.
Receives customer payments.
Maintains petty cash box
Prepares daily bank deposits.
Arranges courier pickups.
Maintains professional appearance and neat work areas.
Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
Receives cash and handles cash drawer with accuracy
Runs credit and debit card machine.
Balances cash, checks, credit card payments and debit card payments daily (day cashier).
Processes customer checks and calls for approval.
Sorts and scans invoices
Prepares daily parts and service invoices for mailing
Reviews cash schedules weekly
Files accounts payable invoices within accounting system (no accounts payable experience or knowledge required).
Files and scans paperwork as necessary.
Becomes familiar with and complies with the company’s Health & Safety Manual.
