About The Position

As Receptionist/Cashier you will be the front-line contact with our customers answering phone calls and greeting walk-in customers. You will also be responsible for receiving payments and balancing receipts on a daily basis. This position is located at our sales and service dealership location in Castaic, California.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One year’ related experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Great telephone manner and ability to represent the company well with excellent customer relations skills.
• Dependable and reliable and able to commit to the work hours for the position.

Responsibilities

• Answers calls on multi-line telephone system.
• Greets visitors and directs them.
• Distributes incoming mail and faxes.
• Receives customer payments.
• Maintains petty cash box.
• Prepares daily bank deposits.
• Prepares day sheets.
• Arranges courier pickups.
• Maintains professional appearance and neat work areas.
• Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Receives cash and handles cash drawer with accuracy.
• Runs credit and debit card machine.
• Balances cash, checks, credit card payments and debit card payments daily.
• Processes customer checks and calls for approval.
• Sorts and scans invoices.
• Prepares daily parts and service invoices for mailing.
• Reviews cash schedules weekly.
• Files accounts payable invoices within accounting system.
• Files and scans paperwork as necessary.
• Becomes familiar with and complies with the company’s Health & Safety Manual.
• Other duties may be assigned.
