About The Position
Sam Packs Five Star Ford of Plano a trusted name in automotive sales and service, known for putting customer satisfaction first. We're looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Automotive Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our customers. If you're a people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! As an Automotive Receptionist, you’ll be the face of the dealership—welcoming guests, answering phones, and supporting the sales and service teams with administrative tasks. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every customer interaction starts with a positive and professional impression.
Requirements
- Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred (automotive a plus!)
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, phone systems, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
- Dependable and punctual
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment
Responsibilities
- Greet all customers and visitors warmly upon arrival
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
- Manage the customer lounge and ensure it remains clean and welcoming
- Schedule appointments or route calls to appropriate team members
- Assist with light administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Support other departments as needed with clerical or customer service tasks
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all customer interactions
