About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Reception Team Lead to lead customer service operations and create exceptional member experiences across our fitness and community center facilities. This role requires a proactive leader who can motivate a team, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive initiatives that enhance member satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive customer service experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with customer databases essential.
  • Sales experience with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee customer service teams across multiple locations, including fitness reception.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing reception team.
  • Ensure efficient and consistent operations across all reception desks, including scheduling, communication, and adherence to service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with fitness and community center managers to promote and cross-sell programs and events.
  • Coordinate information flow and cross-train staff to maintain a culture of service excellence.
  • Lead ongoing customer service training for fitness staff to enhance member interactions.
  • Maintain an orderly, well-stocked service desk, including updating reference materials such as safety guidelines and lost-and-found logs.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
