About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, or managing, organizing, consolidating and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Requirements

• One to two years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
• Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
• Experience in operating warehouse machinery (sit-down lift, cherry picker, reach truck, etc)
• Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Assist warehouse unloading trucks and checking in and validating merchandise prior to stocking
• Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
• Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
• Perform systematically any inventory stocking moves to ensure system accuracy
