About The Position

As a member of an inter-disciplinary Supply Chain team, a Receiver performs receiving tasks within the ERP system. This includes administrative tasks related to inspection, receiving, and distribution of inbound and outbound shipments. The position is responsible for communicating discrepancies in shipments with the Central Procurement department. The position is responsible for processing returns in conjunction with the Buyer. Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or highest level of post-secondary education
  • Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in supply chain distribution
  • Other: Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for efficient and timely unloading of shipments from freight carrier through use of pallet jack, hand truck, or flatbed
  • Inspects packages for damages
  • Verifies product shipment to packing slip
  • Appropriately and accurately documents receipt of product in Lawson ERP system
  • Identifies and communicates with Central Procurement discrepancies in shipments
  • Files packing slips and receiving records
  • Completes deliver of packages to correct location per Purchase Order
  • Processes vendor returns in the ERP system and for the outbound freight carrier to process
  • Delivers supplies and/or equipment to other facilities/clinics within the region
