About The Position

The Receiving Team Lead at Five Below is responsible for overseeing the receiving and warehouse processes, ensuring that work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures. Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience working in a distribution center.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong work ethic with flexibility to adapt to changing environments.
• Friendly, customer-oriented, and a team player.
• Well-organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with web-based programs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving and other warehouse processes and personnel to ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide training to current and new employees on procedures and processes.
• Assign daily work assignments to staff and coordinate with managers and supervisors.
• Assist in developing, revising, and enforcing inventory management procedures.
• Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment for moving parts and loading/unloading trucks.
• Verify counts and quality of received goods, process paperwork, and complete transactions.
• Locate products according to procedures and inspect freight upon arrival for damage.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to relevant personnel.
• Conduct cycle counts of inventory and assist in resolving inventory issues.
• Complete inventory transactions for receiving, assigning locations, and issuing inventory.
