Requirements

• Knowledge of material handling practices, warehouse operations, and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of employment laws and company policies.
• Experience supervising and developing employees effectively preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory management and reporting.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, banders, and hoists.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to communicate and listen to co-workers
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• The job requires various carrying, pushing/pulling, kneeling, crawling and squatting.
• Continuous training in warehouse and safety procedures, and certification in the operation of heavy equipment as needed.
