About The Position

Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Receiving Supervisor in our Ft. Worth, TX location. The Receiving Supervisor will oversee and participate with the unloading, receiving and storing processes of all inbound and the staging of material for the following day’s production. Supervisor will be responsible to make sure team is staying on task and completing daily work activities. The Lead inspires, motivates and provides guidance to employees to meet daily tasks and reach certain goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Proficient Data Entry skills
  • Working knowledge of web-based inventory
  • Basic computer knowledge with Windows based programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Must have strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and product flow, as well as the systems modules pertaining to receiving, transferring, picking and billing
  • Must have at least four (4) years experience in warehouse environment
  • Must have experience on material handling equipment (i.e. forklift)
  • Must have a detail orientation and the proven ability to prioritize work
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team
  • Sound decision-making abilities
  • The position requires decisions relative to planning, maintenance, product throughput efficiency, employee relations and database management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required, as this position works closely with personnel from a variety of different areas within and outside the company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage through subordinates organized and efficient processes for the receiving of all Materials.
  • Responsible for overseeing the process of receiving inbound material.
  • Responsible for overseeing the process of returned goods.
  • Assist in training new hires.
  • Appropriately address warehouse issues with Manager such as inventory discrepancies, warehouse personnel coordination, employee job responsibilities, scheduling issues, forklift & warehouse maintenance.
  • Ensure loading/unloading, labeling, stacking/staging, take back to warehouse items, clearing out MSA is done in a timely and safely manner.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained and following the staging process in warehouse
  • Ensure staging lanes are fully stocked, and parts are all matching with the BOM based on the Model (Auditing the items) in order to maintain continuous productivity.
  • Coordinate and monitor operations to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality standards for products and maintain inventory records for audits.
  • Allocate necessary space for stock rotation and assist with proper FIFO process.
  • Supply production areas with materials using FIFO to ensure flow of production.
  • Timely, report accidents or near miss incidents as required by the Safety Program.
  • Ensure all products are stored in the conditions necessary to maintain quality.
  • Assist in daily scheduled production in all areas, ensuring the processing work is performed in an efficient & productive manner.
