We are hiring a Receiving Supervisor to join our team! The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for facilitating the receipt, verification, and stocking of incoming materials. Responsibilities will include operating equipment in a safe manner, while maintaining a safe and clean working area and ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks.
  • Ability to add and subtract units of measurement, using whole numbers.
  • Knowledge of warehouse technology including the use of RF guns and warehouse inventory software.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Exercises safety in all aspects of carrying out job responsibilities.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (i.e. safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed or composite shoes) as required for the assigned work area.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of receiving associates.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate receiving associates to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service) to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.
  • Determine staffing needs, schedule personnel, and assign job duties.
  • Interview, hire, and train new associates.
  • Implement succession planning for self and other critical roles on the team.
  • Responsible for custody and safekeeping of incoming inventory.
  • Oversee receiving, incoming inspections (when required), stocking, keeping receiving records, and forwarding relevant information to Purchasing (Procurement) for vendor payments.
  • Maintain daily objectives and ensure work goals are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
  • Perform other job-related duties, as needed.
