Position Summary: This role will report directly to the Team Lead and will have no direct reports. The receiving specialist will be responsible for checking in, receiving, inspecting, restocking, shipping and inventory management of medical device instruments and sets. This is also a great entry level (early career) position for a recent graduate with a Supply Chain/Logistics program of study/degree. Scope of Role Responsibilities: The essential functions include but are not limited to supporting the Field Locations, Warehouse Operations, Sales leaders and others in assigned areas. Receive and check-in instruments & sets. Receive deliveries & process shipments for the operations teams. Inspect incoming products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages. Daily inventory management and reporting via Microsoft Excel & Webops (field inventory management system). Restock sets. Meet established metrics for operations (i.e. service levels, standard operating procedures). Inventory control & reconciliation. Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse to meet OSHA and FDA regulations. Keep records of all interactions and transactions of data regarding product and inventory inquires. Use computer equipment and software to enter, access, retrieve data. Understand and implement procedures to manage inventory shelf life and expiring inventory. Store items orderly and easily accessible in warehouse based on protocol. Assist with inventory counts when needed. Participate in weekend on-call rotation schedule. Perform or assist with other duties and projects as needed or assigned.
