About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and documentation of materials throughout the facility. This role supports Stockroom, Receiving, and Production operations by ensuring materials are accurately identified, properly handled, and delivered in a timely manner. A strong focus on safety, inventory accuracy, and documentation is essential to prevent production delays and maintaining high‑quality customer delivery.

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, pull sheets, and other written instructions
• Ability to locate parts by accurately matching number sequences
• Ability to count accurately
• Ability to keep accurate detailed written records of all part transactions
• Ability to accurately record inventory transactions with VE Mobile scanner
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Availability to work weekend overtime as assigned
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to distinguish characters on a mobile scanner display screen

Nice To Haves

• At least one year experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions, pull sheets, pick lists, and related documentation.
• Locate, retrieve, and stage materials by accurately matching part numbers and alphanumeric sequences.
• Use mobile scanning devices and warehouse management systems to record material transactions, including issues, receipts, and transfers.
• Maintain accurate inventory by documenting all material movements and reporting discrepancies or damaged items.
• Interpret and verify information on purchase orders, packing slips, receivers, and ERP (Visual) entries.
• Deliver materials to designated areas, including production or assembly lines.
• Assist with restocking, cycle counts, and material replenishment activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area consistent with facility safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
