Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 3 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 6 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience

Responsibilities

The Receiving Operations Supervisor leads and supports a team of inventory planners while managing Distribution Center responsibilities such as inbound freight, inventory levels, forecasting, and promotional planning, with a focus on meeting department goals and implementing improvements
Collaborate with Management in Centralized Purchasing on strategy creation and execution, and work with team leaders across the department to standardize protocols, develop training programs, and support ongoing projects
Identify and address product code date concerns, monitor overstocks, collaborate with distributors to resolve inventory issues, arrange contingency shipments, and ensure accurate system maintenance for ordering parameters
The Receiving Operations Supervisor develops a thorough understanding of promotional and seasonal sales patterns to calculate and implement sales lifts, ensuring smooth integration of new or changed items into regular purchase planning
The Receiving Operations Supervisor manages product flow with distribution centers by analyzing historical data to determine optimal order multiples with suppliers
