As a Receiving & Materials Supervisor at our Williamsport site, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth, safe, and compliant material movement that keeps production running efficiently. You will lead a team responsible for receiving, storage, and dispatch activities, fostering collaboration, clarity, and operational excellence across departments. Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or materials management operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams with a focus on coaching, development, and collaborative problem‑solving.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control practices, including cycle counting and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance requirements in regulated or industrial environments.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including production, scheduling, and transportation partners.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and decision‑making skills, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of team members engaged in receiving, storing, and dispatching raw materials and finished products.
  • Provide onboarding, training, coaching, and ongoing performance development for receiving staff, ensuring clear expectations and safety awareness.
  • Maintain continuous inspection readiness and compliance for all assigned areas, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards.
  • Coordinate closely with production managers and superintendents to ensure accurate inventory of packaging supplies and raw materials.
  • Manage intermediate and finished goods batch ticket control, including issuance, tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the local railroad to coordinate railcar switches and moves.
  • Own the cycle count process for the Williamsport site, ensuring accuracy and effective corrective actions.
  • Maintain receipt documentation for raw materials, ensuring traceability, completeness, and audit readiness.
