About The Position

Duties and Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Receives incoming packages and food deliveries and enters information on packing slip into resident software. Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received. Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel. Delivers packages and food deliveries to units timely, logs proof of delivery and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items. Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents. May maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records. Follows established company policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety. Receives and logs contractors into the system and contractor log whom will perform work or deliver items to the units. Provide contractor badge along with photo to identify the individual while working inside the building. Maintains communication with Front Desk when a contractor has arrived and advise which unit they will need access for. Assists with guarding the Receiving gate and access. Maintains communication with other departments such as Concierge, Welcome Center and Front Desk as needed to ensure residents receive deliveries timely and the team works cohesively. Communicate with Management Office each time a contractor arrives with building materials or furniture deliveries to ensure they have provided the required elevator deposit. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a related position.
  • Six months to one year in related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 30 lbs.
