Also know all SAP transactions related to the receiving department and all Excel spreadsheets used to manage the receiving department. Also makes inter-company shipments when necessary. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years’ experience in receiving operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the receiving employees are instructed and trained in the safe operations of job duties.
  • Review records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials.
  • Promote positive relations and interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel through Enforcement of safety policies and procedures, including inspections and periodic safety meetings, etc.
  • May occasionally work in place of employees out sick, on vacation, etc.
  • Plan and adjust work assignments of personnel to cover all phases of receiving.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area.
  • Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, etc.).
  • Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
