About The Position

The Receiving Lead is responsible for real time analysis, coordination and balance of Receiving Operations including allocation of tasks to other team members. Other responsibilities will include: Recording and reporting of inbound deliveries. Provides support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner. Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time. Provides administrative support for the Receiving Managers. Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems. Support put-away and unloading operations as needed. Under direct supervision of the DC Receiving Managers. Work is performed within standard policies and procedures with opportunity for unreviewed decision-making. All other duties as assigned. Schedule: Monday - Friday (Saturdays as required), 8:00pm Start Time

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie.
  • Detail oriented and accurate.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s
  • Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
  • Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
