Receiving Lead

CrusoeTulsa, OK
1d$31 - $35

About The Position

As the Receiving Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for the inbound dock and the critical link between our suppliers and our production floor. Beyond executing high-volume receiving and ERP data entry, you will provide leadership and coordination for the receiving team. You will ensure that materials—from raw sheet metal to complex electrical components—are accurately processed, kitted, and moved to production areas without bottlenecking. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a "builder" mindset: prepared, organized, and capable of leading others through high-growth manufacturing challenges. (#INDMFG)

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years of warehouse experience with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with ERP systems (Acumatica, SAP, or similar), RF scanners, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-Oriented: Relentless focus on accuracy; you understand that inventory integrity begins at the dock.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise up to 50 lbs; ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8-10 hours daily.
  • Professional Attributes: A "no task is too small" attitude with a proven ability to lead by example and resolve shop-floor conflicts.
  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required. Willing to participate in safety-sensitive background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sheet metal or electrical component manufacturing.
  • Current Forklift and/or Overhead Crane certification.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 6S principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Operations: Supervise the daily flow of the receiving dock, delegating tasks to specialists to ensure all inbound trucks are unloaded and processed within established SLAs.
  • ERP Integrity: Oversee the entry of all material data into the ERP system (Acumatica/SAP), ensuring 100% accuracy in part numbers, quantities, and storage locations.
  • Production Liaison: Coordinate with Production Leads to prioritize "hot" parts, ensuring critical materials move from the dock to the line immediately.
  • Inventory & Cage Oversight: Manage the parts cage and metal racks, working alongside Inventory Specialists to maintain optimal organization and "bin-to-bin" accuracy.
  • Equipment Leadership: Operate heavy equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes) for large-scale unloads and train junior staff on safe operation and material handling.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct daily 6S inspections of the receiving, lot, and storage areas to ensure a safe, accessible, and hazard-free environment.
  • Conflict Resolution: Identify discrepancies in packing slips versus physical goods and perform root cause analysis to resolve supplier or shipping errors.
