As a Receiving Inspector at Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will be responsible for verifying conformance of procured items per specified requirements. Requirements

  • Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years related quality control inspection experience, electronics industry preferred.
  • Experience with the use of inspection tools required.
  • Basic understanding of IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-600 and other industry standards
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical manufacturing practices.
  • Proficient ability to utilize a PC and the Microsoft Office Suite software package.
  • Thorough understanding of AS9102 First Article requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret prints and datasheets.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Able to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective written and spoken communications skills.
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools/gauges.
  • Must be able to use microscope.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous optical inspection equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection of electronic/electromechanical components, mechanical parts, cable assemblies, printed wiring boards, etc. for conformance to engineering drawings, work instructions, customer and vendor specifications, and industry standards.
  • Verify conformance and write nonconformance reports when discrepancies are found.
  • Verify required provisions have been met
  • Verify supplier documentation is accurate
  • Conduct transactions in ERP system, move product to stock and/or MRB as required
  • Complete First Article Inspections per AS9102 on supplied material
  • Maintain appropriate records of supplier documentation and inspections
  • Interface with Supplier Quality, Procurement and Materials on product status and supplier performance
  • Assist management with implementing process controls, improvement activities, creating work instructions and inspection plans.
  • Audit product received directly into inventory
  • Assist in investigating complaints of nonconforming product in inventory
