Receiving Inspector - Mechanical
About The Position
This position will perform receiving inspection of production material. Ensure that supplied material has been received in accordance with engineering specifications and purchase order requirements. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, purchase order quality codes, and bills of material in order to assure compliance. Compile, file, and retrieve inspection data and reports as required. And Coordinate calibration of test equipment with calibration suppliers. Maintain calibration recall database and certification records.
Requirements
- Minimum of AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and other engineering specifications.
- Ability to clearly communicate inspection results in Quality Notifications.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with GD&T a plus.
