About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Receiving Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and move materials, as well as performing yard checks to ensure trailers are properly staged, available, and free from damage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience (sit-down forklift preferred).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials.
Walk the yard to inspect trailers and ensure they are free from damage.
Verify that the correct trailers are on-site and properly staged for receiving and shipping activities.
Report any trailer or equipment damage to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with general warehouse and yard organization as needed.
Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
