About The Position

The position involves managing a crew of 4-5 employees and ensuring the smooth operation of receiving and inventory processes. Responsibilities include completing receiving paperwork, unloading trucks, operating equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role requires effective communication and follow-up on quality issues, as well as the ability to multitask and manage various duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must be able to display basic arithmetic skills
• Knowledge in shipping management and transaction software
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and similar equipment
• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate receiving employees and train new employees
• Well-organized, able to multitask but also attentive to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to think quickly and resolve issues

Responsibilities

• Manage crew of 4-5 employees
• Complete receiving paperwork throughout the day
• Unload trucks and put away products following SOP
• Operate equipment
• Sign for credits
• Put products in the inventory system accurately
• Read and respond to emails in a timely manner
• Follow up on making sure rotations are made
• Contact owners on quality issues
• Other duties as assigned
