About The Position

Schedule: Full time Job Specific Competencies: Demonstrates skill in communication, leadership, and problem solving. Independently supervises the function of daily work assignments to assure a productive workflow. Supervises and monitors the activities of Associates to assure an effective and efficient operation. Is proficient with the materials management module in McKesson as it relates to inventory, receiving, stock status, and general ledger. Looks for future growth of department through technological resources, Demonstrate aptitude for basic Materials Management principals, such as periodic automated replenishment (PAR Level) inventory systems, inventory management, stock audits, logistics, planning, scheduling, requisitioning and effective receiving and distribution strategies. Responsible for reporting inventory turns per PAR locations and maintaining proper stock levels to support the business. Understands concepts of lean management, process mapping and project management to reduce time and labor efforts while increasing efficiency in daily tasks. Maintains internal and external customer relations by having regular dialogue and meetings as necessary. Must be proficient in ordering all stock items as directed by Director of Materials Management. Lives the CARES values at all times. Qualifications: Mature, energetic, and creative individual who demonstrates leadership qualities demanded for the changing health care environment. Has strong Microsoft Office Skills. Knowledge of McKesson recommended. Has a strong understanding of medical supplies pricing, contracts and use. Demonstrated success in utilizing Project/Process Management incorporating lean principles is required. Ability to recommend different sources of products as it relates to Central Stores inventory for cost saving preferred. Demonstrated prior success in expense savings by implementing inventory control procedures utilizing Best In Class Material Management Techniques is required. Education and Experience: Required Associate Degree Preferred Bachelor Degree Past supervisory experience highly recommended, five (5) or more years experience in a materials management environment in a health care facility.
