About The Position

The position involves coordinating and managing inbound shipments within a distribution or warehousing environment. The role requires ensuring the accuracy of shipments, maintaining safety standards, and supporting inventory management while providing backup for critical roles on the floor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of distribution or warehousing experience.
  • Intermediate level of skill in Microsoft Office Suite applications and PKMS Warehouse Management system.
  • Ability to operate all material handling equipment.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Flexibility to cover other shifts during absences.
  • Ability to work in variant internal and external climate temperatures and low lighting.
  • Good depth perception.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments.
  • Check-in containers and perform necessary FTZ security checks.
  • Report any discrepancies between actual receipts and documentation.
  • Follow up on any 'Go Orders' to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Maintain and report any factory miss packs.
  • Backup for critical roles on 'the floor' to assure continuity during absences.
  • Ensure all products are accounted for and moved to appropriate area.
  • Monitor inventory issues throughout the facility and report problems to shift inventory clerk.
  • Maintain MSDS books.
