About The Position

The role involves counting and documenting raw materials, scanning barcodes, and maintaining inventory records. It ensures safe practices, enforces SOPs for receiving and storing products, and keeps the stockyard and work areas clean. Other duties as assigned. Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 7:00pm. $3.00/HOUR SHIFT PREMIUM!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Certified fork truck driving with at least one year of experience
  • Experience operating LP gas driven fork trucks
  • Experience moving at least 1,000 lbs. or more with a fork truck
  • Valid driver license is required (3 years semi-infraction, not revocation)
  • Must possess the ability to operate bander, shrink wrapper, forklift, tape measures and calipers
  • Must be able to determine material types and gauges
  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must perform all duties in conjunction with UA and ISO requirements
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist

  • Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment that may have high noise levels, dust, chemicals, oil, and grease.
  • Ability to work in an environment that may be either hot, cold or humid.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately counts raw materials to ensure and correct quantity is being received in
  • Documents information related to the material handling of goods
  • Accurately counts and tags material prior to material handling
  • Use tools like RF gun to scan barcodes and update digital inventory records
  • Take digital photos of received items for documentation as needed
  • Ensures clear and clean pathways to and from all outside and inside exits on the production floor
  • Follows safe manufacturing and material handling practices
  • Ensures SOP's for receiving and storing of all products
  • Ensures the stockyard and outbuildings are clean and orderly
  • Other duties as assigned
