About The Position
The position involves providing customer service assistance to customers and managing incoming calls. The role requires comparing identifying information and counting, weighing, or measuring items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Additionally, the employee will set daily delivery appointments, process incoming deliveries, and process completed loads. The position also includes resolving any issues with shipping and/or receiving with internal staff, filing paperwork daily, and following corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices while reporting any noncompliance observed. Safety is a priority, and the employee is expected to observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
