About The Position

Dole Fresh Vegetables is hiring for a 2nd Shift Receiving Clerk. This position is a direct hire with benefits effective from day 1 of employment. The role involves working in a cool environment with an average temperature of 34°F, and it is considered 'safety sensitive', requiring the passing of a drug screen. The work schedule consists of 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week, starting at 4 PM until production is finished. Requirements

• 1-2 Years of Experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in a food processing environment helpful but not required.
• A great work ethic.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented food processing environment.
• Ability to interact well with co-workers.
• Ability to work in a wet and cool environment with an average temperature of 34°F.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment with moving machinery.
• Ability to work in the presence of chemicals.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and carry out repetitive hand movements.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.
• Must be able to maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
• Must have the ability to work shifts that include weekends and work overtime when needed.
• Must have knowledge of inventory, receiving and inbound packages.
• Qualified candidates will have excellent computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Account Receivable duties.
• Interact with California Accounts Payable.
• Coordinate and follow up on all inbound schedules.
• Work with daily inventories.
• Work with raw product yield.
• Work with Excel spreadsheets creation, data input, and reporting.
• Process Cull System Dump.
• Stay in communication with Bessimer City and Soledad.
• Process Month-end closing.
• Maintain consistent supply of raw materials to all areas of the plant.
• Filing.
• Coordinating receiving activities with other departments as necessary.
• Assist with receiving dock duties when needed.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
