About The Position

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the receiving and processing all product into the warehouse. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 based on experience Schedule: Monday: 6:00am – 4:00pm Tuesday: 6:00am – 4:00pm Wednesday: 6:00am – 4:00pm Thursday: 6:00am – 4:00pm Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm Preferred Experience: Prior automotive parts knowledge and previous sales experience preferred Training - Minimum of one month on the job training required

Requirements

Ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems
Ability to coordinate receiving operations effectively
Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others, understands material, and provides instructions to all warehouse associates
Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee receiving operations
Ability to give special attention to detail required.
Must have ability to identify letters and numbers
Must adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
The individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, and responds to management direction
Must have ability to orally communicate with co-workers, supervisors and other employees

Nice To Haves

Prior automotive parts knowledge and previous sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate the timely receipt of inventory and restock all incoming deliveries according to company standards
Use scanners to ensure physical inventory is processed accurately
Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory
Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area at all times
Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times
All other duties as assigned
