About The Position

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for all functions surrounding the receiving of all merchandise for the hotel and restaurant. This includes receiving, inspection, verification and storage of all product deliveries.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in receiving role required.
  • Must have understanding of purchasing/receiving clerk daily processes.
  • Ability to be yourself, lead yourself, make it count!
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Rotates products and transport items from receiving to appropriate departments.
  • Reconcile order versus the packing slips and compare packing slips versus Purchase Orders and work with accounting department to get invoices paid on time and accurately.
  • Ensures the proper documentation and paperwork to proper party.
  • Distributes shipments to hotel storage areas.
  • Maintains cleanliness of storage rooms, and ensure the security of the coolers and storerooms.
