This includes 3 restaurants (rooftop, southern Italian, and poolside), a cocktail bar, marketplace and in-room dining. A Receiving Clerk accepts all purchases products into the hotel, verifying accuracy of delivery to purchase orders. Maintains storeroom in accordance to standards and rotates stock accordingly. Issues and delivers items to departments in accordance with the requisition policies and procedures. Conducts inventories as needed. What will I be doing? As the Receiving Clerk, you would be responsible for accepting materials for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Director of Purchasing/Purchasing Manager in the daily operation of the storeroom.
  • Receives and places products in their assigned storeroom location in an organized manner.
  • Checks items received against purchase orders to verify accuracy of the order.
  • Rotates perishable stock so that all food items are fresh
  • Issues and delivers products from the storeroom to departments.
  • Checks each item on the requisitions which may involve weighing, counting, verifying each item and checking them against specifications to verify accuracy and approvals for the order.
  • Conduct inventories as directed.
  • Ensure all food, beverage, and general merchandise item are listed on inventory lists.
  • Participate in hotel/department meetings
  • Perform any general tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
  • Perform other duties as requested by manager or special guest requests.
  • Purchase materials for the hotel through approved vendors
  • Establish, manage and maintain supply levels for the hotel
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations regarding storage, safety and sanitation
