About The Position

The Receiving Clerk ensures accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments using RF-enabled systems. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, recording, and storing goods in compliance with company standards while maintaining real-time inventory accuracy. By verifying quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates at receipt, the Receiving Clerk supports warehouse efficiency, production readiness, and overall inventory integrity. Participate in the processing of all incoming shipments, including its receipt, inspection, and documentation. Prompt communication of any discrepancies and/or damages, working with the Receiving and Purchasing team to resolve. Will perform physical counts of inbound inventory, confirming product details. Unloading shipments and breaking down pallets into separate products if necessary. Must receive shipments into designated staging areas. Follow proper product staging practices to prevent damage or loss during the receiving process. Carry out the receiving and its documentation storage in reflection of company SOP. Maintain a safe and efficient workspace for all product processing and staging. Work with Purchasing and Receiving departments to address inventory concerns. Will also include any other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–4 years of warehouse or receiving experience
  • Hands-on experience with RF scanners in a WMS environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work in varying warehouse temperatures
  • Warehouse environment with exposure to noise and equipment
  • Overtime or weekend work may be required during peak periods or inventory counts
  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Infor CSD, Infor TWL, or similar ERP/WMS systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of receiving processes, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to inventory accuracy
  • Comfortable using RF technology and following system-directed workflows
  • Safety-minded and compliant with warehouse and equipment standards
  • Organized, dependable, and proactive in resolving issues

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities, condition, and product identification using RF scanning devices
  • Perform system-based receiving transactions in Infor TWL, ensuring real-time inventory accuracy in Infor CSD ERP
  • Validate purchase orders, packing slips, lot numbers, serial numbers, and expiration dates
  • Identify and escalate damages, shortages, or discrepancies at the time of receipt
  • Apply RF-generated labels and stage materials for system-directed putaway
  • Support returns processing and assist with exception handling and discrepancy resolution
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving docks and staging areas
  • Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and inventory control procedures
  • Collaborate with inventory control, purchasing, and production teams to ensure timely material availability
  • Support audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities as needed
