The Receiving Clerk performs work in the Receiving area of the store, including merchandise stocking, inventory control, pricing, and merchandise returns. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The clerk is responsible for unloading trucks, stocking and ticketing merchandise, and processing returns. They must maintain the Receiving area layout as set by the Corporate Office, interact with other associates in a friendly, positive, and professional manner, and keep the work area clean, neat, and safe. Adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures is required, as is remaining knowledgeable of advertised sales. The position involves performing tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation, with occasional independent judgment to resolve problems and often making recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
