Scope of Position Responsible for the accurate and timely receiving, verification, and system entry of incoming goods—primarily raw materials—following established procedures. Coordinates safe put‑away of materials, completes picks and deliveries to the production floor, and supports routine material handling activities such as cycle counting, staging/kitting, shipping support, packaging, and general material movement. May assist with production equipment moves as directed. Work is performed under moderate supervision, with tasks that are generally routine and require adherence to standard processes, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager. This role is full-time, onsite and is based in Fort Myers, FL.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years’ experience with receiving and warehouse environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team and fast‑paced environment.
  • Solid math, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to collaborate daily with Purchasing, Finance (Accounts Payable), Shipping, Quality, and Production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload inbound shipments; verify material identity, quantity, condition, and documentation (POs, packing slips, BOLs, COA/SDS when applicable) and complete required three‑point receiving checks.
  • Accurately record shipment details, including quantities, weights, charges, and space availability; enter receipts into the ERP system and properly label materials.
  • Unpack materials and supplies and escalate discrepancies, damages, or nonconforming materials to Purchasing and/or Quality per established procedures.
  • Safely transport raw materials to designated storage locations or stage materials to production lines; perform kitting, line‑side replenishment, and maintain Kanban/min‑max inventory levels where applicable.
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and conduct daily equipment inspections.
  • Support quality and traceability requirements, including lot control and documentation retention.
  • Assist with general material movement, shipping preparation, packaging, and staging of outbound shipments; routinely lift and move materials as required.
  • Access computer systems daily to review email, reference documents, and maintain electronic logs of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Identify routine process issues and suggest improvements related to receiving, put‑away, staging, and line‑side delivery; participate in lean/Kaizen activities and cross‑training across warehouse functions as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; follow OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and hazmat handling SOPs.
  • Report all job‑related injuries or illnesses immediately to a direct supervisor.
  • Perform work independently under moderate supervision, following established instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Must maintain attendance and punctuality standards as established by company.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager or Company management.
  • Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)
