About The Position

EDCO, a leading manufacturer in Frederick, Maryland is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support our manufacturing operations. This role is essential to maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring materials are properly received, tracked, and available when needed. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position with hours of Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. Pay Range: $20.23 - $24.72 an hour, based on experience. EDCO team members enjoy several benefits: Affordable medical insurance (1st of the month following 60 days of employment) FREE dental insurance for the employee (1st of the month following 60 days of employment) PAID holidays (after 90 days) Tuition assistance (after 1 year) Life insurance Profit Sharing 401k ...and more! ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL DO As our Inventory Clerk, you will help maintain accurate inventory by: Unloading and unpacking incoming shipments Inspecting deliveries for damage and verifying quantities Recording receiving information in company databases Processing internal inventory transactions Updating and maintaining Kanban cards Monitoring stock levels for shortages or discrepancies Auditing parts and correcting inventory errors Reviewing and assisting with Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy Performing weekly and monthly cycle counts Working with Purchasing to confirm accurate costs Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Your accuracy directly supports production and operational efficiency. ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR High school diploma or equivalent Manufacturing experience preferred 5+ years of related experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and basic math skills Computer proficiency Ability to communicate effectively in English Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to analyze information and resolve discrepancies Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Knowledge of Lean manufacturing is a plus ---------------------------------------- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Ability to stand for extended periods Comfortable working in hot or cold environments and on concrete floors ---------------------------------------- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. ---------------------------------------- At EDCO, every accurate count matters.
