Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experienced and licensed forklift operator.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable/provisional driving record, current DOT medical card and ability to drive the Life Fitness straight truck.
  • Proficient computer skills including email and familiarity with a keyboard and mouse.
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract and multiply).
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write and understand).
  • Available to work a split shift when needed.
  • Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Walk, stand, bend, squat, sit, twist/turn, climb stairs/ladders/steel loads, reach overhead, grasp tools as necessary and work at heights.
  • Operate forklift and crane.
  • Wear fall protection to unload steel.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, store and stage materials.
  • Operate forklift and crane.
  • Inspect quality of incoming product.
  • Return rejected parts to vendor.
  • Receive incoming parts and verify to purchase order.
  • Perform computer data entry in Oracle.
  • Report shortages/overages.
  • Complete shortage and material usage forms as necessary.
  • Unload raw steel and organize steel in steel room.
  • Arrange docking for trucks to unload per docking policy.
  • Tag and count all containers per CTPAT.
  • Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Maintain pallet inventory for production orders.
  • Arrange, move and organize as necessary.
  • Communicate with Laser Operators and load steel in laser lines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
