Receiving Clerk-1st Shift (Mon-Thurs 4a-2p)
About The Position
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for unloading daily inbound freight & ground shipments, as well as receiving all goods within the same day. Following inspection processes, the receiving Clerk will perform the following for all good received; review vendor shipment documentation, quantity checks using weight or hand counts, checking the quality &conformity of parts from a visual standpoint, accurately labeling packages and receiving goods into the company’s ERP system. Duties include, but are not limited to: Communicate & deliver purchased non-stock material to proper personnel or departments in a timely manner. Assisting with outbound/inbound anodized material as needed Stocking of received goods as needed. Assist with material handling coverage as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Has solid math skills and can read a tape measurer
- Experience with using a computer and Windows software applications along with accurately counting product and data entry
- Can read, speak, and write in English
- Have or be willing to obtain a forklift license within 30 days of hire
- Able to stand, twist, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, and lift 40 lbs. on a continuous basis for an 8-hour workday
Nice To Haves
- 1 or more years of experience with receiving products in a production or manufacturing environment or similar experience in another industry (food service, retail, etc.)
