About The Position

Coordinates incoming shipments by verifying deliveries, tracking inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation. Identifies and resolves discrepancies or damage through collaboration with supervisors, buyers, and vendors, including processing returns.

Requirements

• Ability to read, complete, and process all receiving paperwork and transfers.
• Distributes packages, lifts, moves, places, materials, and navigates throughout the plant and warehouse.
• Performs visual quality checks, warehousing, and documents it.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• High level of responsibility, first and final check of all inbound material (quantities and quality), works with little to no supervision.
• Excellent and constant communication skills needed, regular communication with Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor, department employees, and truck drivers.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other ERP systems, for example Masterpak and Coupa.
• Ability to speak communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with direct supervisor on scheduling of shipments.
• Verifies incoming material and items for damages and/ or discrepancies.
• Properly accounts for the location of incoming goods.
• Assures no damaged items are sent or received and escalates any issues.
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
• Collaborates with the Buyer and/or supervisor when there are discrepancies.
• Updates the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory.
• Packages products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary.
