About The Position

The role of the Receiving Associate is to safely and efficiently load, unload, identify and tag merchandise from vendors and other AFW facilities. The Receiving Associate position offers one of the best distribution/warehouse earning packages in the area. Starting pay at $16/hr. Requirements

• Ability to be certified in the operation of warehouse equipment.
• Ability to use trailer chocks.
• Ability to operate a fork lift, reach truck, and pallet jack.
• Ability to operate and use a hand truck.
• Ability to perform correct lifting and team lifting techniques.
• Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.
• Flexible schedule to work all shifts, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and unload merchandise from vendors and other AFW facilities.
• Breakdown merchandise inside trailers/containers - unstack and position merchandise for removal.
• Accurately match packing list to vendor labels.
• Accurately load merchandise from the dock to trailers.
• Identify merchandise by vendor label and apply matching AFW label.
• Sweep docks, trailers, and containers.
• Safely load merchandise onto pallets.
• Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates.
