About The Position
Unload trucks, qualify material within inventory system, label, and stock shelves.
Requirements
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Net Suites and/or an equivalent ERP system experience
- Forklift experience
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Basic math skills
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift to unload shipments from freight carrier trucks to be received in the building, specifically raw metal deliveries.
- Count, sort, and qualify incoming packages to verify receipt against packing slip and bill of lading. Visually inspect for damage on all shipments.
- Receive into Inventory System.
- Label incoming goods accordingly with MCWW labels.
- Stock shelves and work with management to maintain a clean work place.
- Help maintain the flow of waste in the plant.
- Report any discrepancies in receiving and inventory to your department manager.
- Help keep the receiving area and main aisle free of skids, debris, and anything else that may cause excess traffic.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Overtime and weekend work are sometimes required
