About The Position

Responsible for inbound activities, which include the receipt, movement, and storage of raw materials arriving at our facility. Physically load and unload trailers and move materials to and from temporary staging locations while they await quality inspection using hand pallet jack and/or powered forklift. Systematically record material movements in our Warehouse Management System (Costpoint). Use First-In/First-Out (FIFO) methodology to identify and move material to its appropriate storage building and location. This role also has an additional focus that includes working with our Inventory team to stage and store reeled computer chip components. Additionally, may be required to flex across additional logistics activities as department workload dictates. Must be flexible to extend schedule to include occasional overtime during peak production periods.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Requires 2 years or more experience with basic to intermediate Microsoft and computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to perform tasks using a ladder with possible heights up to 20ft.
  • Capable of bending, twisting, and lifting up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to learn the WMS system (Costpoint/Cognos) and process transactions electronically and physically to ensure overall inventory accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong accurate counting ability, attention to detail, flexibility to changing priorities, strong customer focus, and mid-level problem solving skills.
  • Proven track record of reliability and have demonstrated the ability to pay attention to detail along with solid organization skills.
  • Prior warehousing experience or shipping/receiving and forklift training is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate basic Microsoft and computer knowledge.
  • Operate WMS system to ensure overall inventory accuracy.
  • Operate several powered industrial vehicles such as forklift, and a platform order picker lift (Crown WAVE).
  • Proven track record of reliability and have demonstrated the ability to pay attention to detail along with solid organization skills.
  • Maintain 5S/6S, ensuring cleanliness of the dock and storage areas.
  • Comply with work procedures and site policies.
  • Qualify as an ATF Responsible Person.
  • Complete powered industrial vehicle (forklift) training and qualify on platform lift equipment (WAVE) within 45 days of on-the-job training.
