About The Position

To support the warehouse floor and daily receiving activities while ensuring proper processes and procedures for receiving are followed in a timely manner. Additionally this position supports the internal warehouse staff with moving furniture within the warehouse, helping quality control of Shoppe Amber Interiors products, wrapping furniture for storage, prepping freight shipments when needed and assisting with Shoppe Amber photoshoots when assistance is needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of warehouse experience preferably in home decor or interiors.
  • Receiving experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  • GREAT communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Be a team player.
  • Accuracy in counting and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and mobilize large items, up to 50 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily deliveries are received and inspected within 48 hours.
  • Receive and inspect all wholesale merchandise.
  • Work within RF smart to receive all products for Shoppe.
  • Inspect products for defects and damage and report to Receiving Lead.
  • Ensure product is tagged and put away accurately once received.
  • Log all receiving shipments into Wholesale Receiving Log
  • Support the SAI-QC team in the receiving, quality control checks and wrapping of furniture for storage and/or shipping.
  • Support the overall warehouse by keeping the warehouse floor and inventory organized and clean.
  • Under general supervision this position supports the receiving and shipping functions in the warehouse for all Made by Shoppe furniture.
  • Support with offloading and onloading of inventory while following company safety guidelines.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages during receiving and packing.
  • Help put product away accurately within the RF Smart binning process.
  • Support all weekly deliveries and photoshoot deliveries and installs.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate packing standards for all outbound products loaded into delivery vehicles.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Support Warehouse Management team and facility in additional areas when needed.
  • Additionally, this position may ride with the Company truck or automobile to deliver products to/from customers and/or pick up merchandise to/from photoshoot locations
