About The Position

The Receiving Associate plays a crucial role in the supply chain process. The associate should be adaptable, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The primary responsibility is to manage the efficient receipt of goods and materials into the warehouse.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
  • Experience with RF scanners or barcode systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours
  • Ability to climb ladders or operate lift equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate or become certified on reach truck or warehouse equipment (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, communication, and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming shipments from delivery trucks and other transport vehicles.
  • Verify the quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders or shipping manifests.
  • Physically handle and inspect the received items.
  • Ensure that products are not damaged and meet quality standards.
  • Use scanners to accurately enter receipt data into the inventory management system.
  • Organize and store items in designated areas by using scanners and reach trucks.
  • Complete daily replenishment of pick bins and work areas as needed.
  • Assist with inventory counts when needed/available.
  • Keep receiving areas clean and organized by completing daily 5s.
  • Dispose of packaging materials appropriately.
