About The Position

A Receiving Associate position in Temecula, CA is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. You must have one plus year of relevant experience with incoming inventory and exposure operating a Forklift. You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting all goods and materials, both raw material and finished goods. The compensation is $23 an hour. The position requires a start time of 6 AM, Monday through Friday, with overtime required. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGT Innovations, is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.

Requirements

• One year of incoming inventory/materials experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Forklift experience with the ability to obtain certification onsite is required (Must have a valid CA Driver's License).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to self-manage and multi-task.
• Ability to work in, and promote, a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures, MITER operating system, and Philosophy.
• Receive raw material and verify against the packing slip.
• Accurately code received goods to the proper account.
• Supply material as needed and/or requested to the production line and other departments.
• Assist in preparation for, and completion of inventory.
• Generate barcode labels as required.
• Keep all parts in responsibility adequately always stocked.
• Communicate with a supervisor or Purchasing Department when materials/supplies are running low.
• Incorporates MITER's vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to the MITER Guiding Principles.
• Adheres to all facets of safety policies and procedures.
