The Receiving Assistant is responsible for assisting the Receiving Manager in the successful operation of the receiving department. This position requires providing World Class Customer Service as a number one priority, exemplifying integrity, responsibility, and excellence while adhering to all policies. The role involves accurately receiving all incoming products, including date, accuracy, and damage checking, scanning all incoming and outgoing products, and staging products for efficient delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Assistant will also process POs, RPOs, mispicks, invoices, and paperwork timely and accurately, research and process all discrepancies, and communicate with department managers regarding delivery issues and vendor out-of-stocks. Additional responsibilities include operating a forklift and pallet jack, maintaining a clean and organized back room, and supporting store opening and closing activities. This position requires working five days, 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and attending mandatory store meetings.
