We’re looking for a Receiving and Stock Clerk to join our team at the Fort Drum dining facility. In this position, you’ll be the backbone of our supply chain—making sure our kitchen staff always have what they need to serve great meals. Keep accurate records of food inventory so everything is accounted for. Receive deliveries, check shipments against purchase orders, and ensure everything matches up. Organize and store supplies with care, rotating perishable items using FIFO methods. Distribute supplies quickly and efficiently to the right departments. Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers. Prepare clear inventory and usage reports for management. Work closely with vendors, kitchen staff, and internal teams to coordinate supply needs. Provide friendly, responsive service—answering questions and resolving issues with professionalism. Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and create neat, appealing displays.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, food service operations, or supply coordination.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on inventory management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Basic understanding of food safety best practices preferred
