About The Position

Sunrise Medical is a world leader in the development, design, manufacture, and distribution of manual and powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and both standard and made-to-order seating and positioning systems. This role is primarily responsible for the handling of all incoming materials, process receipts both physically and in JDE, distribution of all receipt goods to different locations. This role is also responsible for compliance of all CTPAT related activities.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
One (1) year of warehouse/receiving and forklift experience preferred.
At least one (1) year of service in Inventory Control Department or similar inventory control experience.
Working knowledge of JDE system preferred.
Working knowledge of KANBAN system preferred.
Must be forklift certified or be able to be certified.
Must be detailed oriented.

Responsibilities

Responsible for unloading and transferring incoming material to specific locations.
Responsible for visual verification, accuracy and quality of the incoming materials.
Responsible for accurately performing system receipts, Bar Code transactions, sorting and labeling of all incoming materials.
Responsible for immediately reporting documentation and material discrepancies to purchasing and management.
Assists in the facility’s cycle count program by performing inventory audits of specific areas as needed.
Assists Warehouse Supervisor with the preparation and carrying out physical inventory.
Responsible for communicating arrival of expedite materials to internal and external customers.
Responsible for following all applicable safety/housekeeping guidelines.
Performs necessary preventative maintenance.
Responsible for following all C-TPAT procedures and requirements.
Responsible for monitoring and enforcing C-TPAT compliance in their work area. (with personnel, carriers, vendors and contractors)
May work on special projects/assignments upon request.
