About The Position

Kimberton Whole Foods in Collegeville is seeking a dedicated, full-time Receiver to become a vital part of our team! Set Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older. Unloading and organizing all incoming deliveries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring proper rotation of stock. Inspecting deliveries to verify that the quality and condition of the product is up to KWF standards. Matching invoice details to delivered products and handling any corrections or returns as necessary. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the back stock area, prioritizing the safety of all who are operating in the space. Managing the special-order program, working directly with customers. Qualities that make you a great candidate: You have previously worked in a retail or warehouse environment and have experience with receiving and inventory management. You’re enthusiastic about customer service and have a cheerful and positive attitude to everyone you interact with. You’re an effective communicator who embodies the spirit of a team player. You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized. You understand the importance of pacing and can shift gears in accordance to volume, time, and temperature demands. You are comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions. You are diligent about workplace safety.

Requirements

  • Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
  • Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
  • Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
  • Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
  • Standing- prolonged standing.
  • Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
  • Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
