About The Position

Cardenas Markets is seeking a Receiver to join our team. The Receiver will be
responsible for receiving all incoming shipments in the grocery department and
ensuring merchandise is not defected or damaged.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year experience in working receiving
• Grocery retail background preferred
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, examines and inspects all products for quality
• Fill orders by stocking items from the warehouse and stock shelves as needed with product from the warehouse
• Work with management team to coordinate and facilitate shipment placement
• Document all overages, damages, and shortage
• Communicate with truck delivery drivers on specific location for proper and safe delivery
• Respond promptly and courteously to customer needs
• Operate power equipment to move heavy material like fork trucks and/or pallet jacks.
