About The Position
Events by RHC is seeking a dedicated Receiver to join our Warehouse and Commissary Kitchen located on 48th Street. The Receiver will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by maintaining accurate records of all incoming deliveries and managing inventory effectively. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of organization and sanitation in the receiving areas. The Receiver will be responsible for verifying and counting all deliveries, ensuring that they match the corresponding invoices, and communicating any discrepancies to the Chef. This role is essential in supporting the overall efficiency of our operations and ensuring that all departments receive their necessary supplies in a timely manner. In addition to managing deliveries, the Receiver will also be tasked with placing food orders and organizing storage areas to prevent spoilage and waste. This includes labeling, dating, and rotating food and beverage items according to health and safety regulations. The Receiver will participate in monthly inventory checks to ensure that stock levels are maintained and will assist with porter duties as needed. This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $22 to $24, and it is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their careers in facility operations and event management.
